Plano, Texas, May 1, 2017 – RTI/Community Management Associates, Inc. “CMA” recently held a charity drive to support Allen Community Outreach. CMA collected over $2600 and 250 pounds of food for the ACO’s annual “Kids Fighting Hunger” Campaign, which will help approximately 115 children in the Allen area fight hunger this summer.
Allen Community Outreach began in 1985 as an information and referral service for families needing assistance and not knowing where help could be found within the county. Over the past three decades the agency has expanded its mission, and now serves hundreds of Allen area and Northeast Collin County families each month to provide help in crisis situations. Preventing hunger and homelessness is ACO’s motto, but providing essential human and social services to transform lives is the mission.
“It’s wonderful to have such a great community partner in CMA,” said Monty Moore, CEO of Allen Community Outreach. “Because of your generosity, ACO will be able to provide meals to hungry kids in our community. Many thanks.”
“Giving back to the community is one of our company’s core values,” said Judi Phares, President and CEO of CMA. “Over the years the company and staff have supported hundreds of charities. I’m proud of our passion for community service.”
